PRODUCT INFORMATION
The fifth wheel is one of the most important yet overlooked components of the semi-truck and trailer. After hundreds of years of it being “normal” to manually apply grease on the fifth wheels (or not greasing at all), the BADGER Group has developed the patent-pending Gear-Greasing system. No more will the shop technicians apply grease to the top of the plate, just to watch it get scraped off and onto the ground when the truck backs under the trailer. ECO-friendly GEAR-GREASING harnesses the movement of the fifth wheel plate to only apply the needed amount of grease while the truck is moving, eliminating the chance for debris to get mixed in with the grease and cause damage to the fifth wheel itself, or the upper coupler plate.
